WELCOME TO EI EXCELLENCE!

Hi!  Welcome to EI Excellence, a premier location for professionals to get the most up-to-date information on the implementation of early intervention supports and services for infants and toddlers and their families.  The purpose of this site is to bring us all together and keep us all on the same page as we do our best to help support children and families grow and develop.  Who is the “us?”  Well, all early interventionist, regardless of your discipline or current role in EI, all are part of the big team which also includes families. Together we are an amazing resource for each other, and without one or the other, the process doesn’t exist!  We value these relationships, and working together only makes us even stronger and better.

This website and blog is a collaborative effort of EI professionals in the Charlotte and Southern Piedmont area of North Carolina.  Even if you work in EI outside of this area we welcome you and would love to hear what strategies work for you too!

Some things that you will see on this site include…….

• An ongoing Blog that brings in the practical perspective, including what-to-do scenarios
• Evidence-based practice resources that help shed light on the EI perspective and how it makes an amazing difference for families
• Tools and resources for EI professionals that can help put us in the mindset of working within routines and natural environments
