You guessed it….the Mecklenburg County CDSA has been discussing another Concept of the Week, or COW! This one was about how to promote Natural Learning Environment Practices by not relying on toy bags during early intervention visits. Schedule visits to occur during actual child, family, or classroom activities and routines;

Support the parent or caregiver in using the child’s interests and familiar items to promote participation in the activity; and

Support the adult in fostering child participation.
